Specifications, dimensions and production process of titanium rods
Specifications and dimensions
Diameter: The diameter of titanium rods ranges widely, ranging from a few millimeters to hundreds of millimeters. For example, the diameter of small titanium rods used in electronic equipment may be 2-10mm, while the diameter of titanium rods used in large mechanical structures or chemical equipment may reach 50-300mm or even larger16. Length: The length is usually customized according to user needs, generally ranging from 1000mm to several meters, and there are also irregular lengths available, such as 300-2000mm.
Production process
Hot forging: Heating the titanium billet to a certain temperature and then forging it can improve the internal structure of the titanium rod, improve its mechanical properties, and make it more dense and uniform. It is often used to manufacture titanium rods with larger specifications and higher performance requirements. Hot rolling: By heating the billet and rolling it at high temperature, larger titanium bars can be produced with good mechanical properties, which are suitable for manufacturing structural parts with high strength and thickness requirements. Turning and polishing: Turning or grinding the titanium bars to obtain higher dimensional accuracy and good surface quality, meeting the requirements of different application scenarios for the surface roughness and dimensional accuracy of titanium bars.
